Welcome to the National Institute of Crop Science, Rural Development Administration. In 1906 when the agriculture was the major industry and national wealth, Korea founded this institute to help farmers in need of good seeds and information to grow their crops. Today, NICS continues this legacy by serving all Koreans, who farms as well as everyone eats.
